Marwood Villas was created from a vision to offer something truly different in the Grampians region, a sanctuary that celebrates peace, nature and understated luxury.

STORY

Purchased by owners Max and Barb, Marwood draws on their extensive backgrounds in retail and plant nursery industries. Their shared passion for quality, attention to detail and natural beauty shaped the transformation of the property into a high‑end, adults‑only retreat for discerning travellers.

The name Marwood is derived from the surnames of the original owners, Martin and Attwood, honouring the history of the property while reflecting its evolution into a refined destination.

Every element of Marwood has been curated with intention. Limestone‑built villas sit quietly within landscaped gardens that blend seamlessly into the surrounding native forest. The result is an environment where guests feel completely removed from the outside world, yet deeply connected to nature.
